Welcome to Utstu Lomnes, our main location in Rendalen. The family farm is owned and operated by forester
Maren Kværness Halberg and will house groups of up to four or six guests depending on activity and preferences.
Our exclusive group sizes and outstanding guide-to-guest ratio contribute to intimate nature experiences in a safe
and encouraging atmosphere.
While the main farm, which is one of the oldest farms in the valley, is associated with burial remains dating back
to the fourth century A.C., farming activity at Utstu Lomnes can be tracked back to at least 1592.
The outfarm locations are newer, but church and administrative records indicate that one of them, Lomnes Mistra,
has been used for summer grazing at least since 1665.
