Lodging:Dambua

Dambua, originally built as temporary lodging for area loggers, is strategically located on the upper bank of Mistra at the elevation limit of the pine forests at the foot of the mountain Rendalsfjellet. The cabin is located at the end of the gravel road connecting Lomnesmistersetra to national highway RV217 that runs from Storsjøen to Femunden.
Dambua features rustic but comfortable standard. While this cabin has no running water or electricity, it is fully furnished to provide a comfortable stay. A centrally located wood stove heats the entire cabin and a propane cooking range. Dambua sleeps four in bunk beds, and features a separate room for drying clothes. Please bring sleeping bags and linens, or notify us about any needs you may have in this regard. All we ask is that you clean the dishes, sweep the floors and return furnishings to the location they were found before vacating the premises.
